Aspect Landscape were instructed to prepare the detailed landscape design and masterplanning input associated with Plots 3-5 of the multi-phased redevelopment of the former Powergen site, Leacon Road, Ashford.
The scheme included 235 high quality apartments and 26 riverside houses along the Great Stour and fronting onto Victoria Park.
Following on from gaining outline planning consent, Aspect were involved in the detailed hard and soft landscape design for the Reserved Matters Application and discharge of Planning Conditions. The scheme included a riverside walk and pockets of green space surrounded by town houses and apartments with direct links to Victoria Park. Aspect’s experience with large scale residential developments such as this and liaising with planning officers assisted in the successful application and creation of a new high quality riverside development.
