Land South of Ash Lodge Drive, Ash, Tongham

Aspect Landscape were instructed to prepare the detailed landscape design and masterplanning input associated with the proposed residential development on 22ha of greenfield land South of Ash Lodge Drive, Ash, Tongham.

The scheme included up to 400 dwellings and extensive public open space, landscaping, community allotments and children’s play areas.

Following on from gaining outline planning consent, Aspect were involved in the detailed hard and soft landscape design for the Reserved Matters Application and discharge of Planning Conditions. The scheme included a comprehensive landscape design for the open spaces which successfully integrated the drainage strategy and SUDs solutions whilst also retaining the existing treebelts and provided extensive new planting. The Reserved Matters application gained consent in January 2017, following which Aspect have continued to be commissioned on the detailed landscape design and works for construction.

Aspect has also continued to be involved with an amended application for 485 units on the same site and prepared the updated planning drawings and Landscape and Visual ES Chapter for the revised scheme in early 2018.
