Aspect Landscape Planning were appointed to undertake the landscape design and input to support the redevelopment of the former Felnex Trading Estate in Hackbridge. The development includes 725 residential dwellings as well as a large destination superstore, assisted living units, retail facilities, a health facility, community and recreational facilities and a business area. Aspect’s overall landscape masterplan, and design code input for the landscape areas to create specific character areas, pocket parks and a central open space with children’s play facilities were key to the success of the planning application. Aspect also provided landscape support to individual phases during construction and site wide auditing of the installed landscape scheme.
