Aspect’s Landscape input assists in gaining planning consent for Bellways Homes scheme at Moulsham Lane, Yateley.

Aspect Landscape Planning and Arboriculture have been working closely with Bellways Homes Ltd on the reserved matters application for 150 dwellings at Moulsham Lane, Yateley. The outline application had been granted at appeal and so the work on the reserved matters was closely scrutinised.

The sites location in the Thames Basin Heaths meant that a SANG was required within the site which had to meet Natural England’s specification. Aspect worked closely with the project ecologists, Hard District Council officer and Natural England to resolve the design and detailed issues relating to planting. Aspect also worked closely with the design team and highways authority to ensure that the proposals met the standards set in relation to parking and maintained key trees within the site.

The application was approved in April 2018.
